Platinum is the New Gold -
What Real Estate Brokers Need to Know About LEED Platinum Buildings
Speaker: Ralph DiNola - Green Building Services
In the early days of green building, it was enough for a developer to earn LEED certification for a project. Soon the goal became silver, then gold, and now platinum is the new aspiration for commercial office space. One Waterfront Place, a $100 million, 270,000 square foot Class A office building under development by Jim Winkler and Bob Naito in the River District, is the area’s newest office building to seek LEED platinum status. Ralph DiNola, green building expert, will provide insight into what features make a building achieve platinum status and how they make economic sense for developers and for tenants. Join us to learn how these benefits will appeal to your prospective clients.
