Jim Mark’s focus is on the big picture, charting a course for the Company's future. He provides the comprehensive vision that unites all three Melvin Mark companies together. He led the company's decision to go beyond its niche in the downtown and become a leading player in brokerage, investment, and development opportunities in the fast-growing suburban business communities. Jim continues to spearhead the drive for  brokerage and development projects throughout the region.

For 50 years, Pete Mark has guided the growth of the Melvin Mark Companies into one of the region’s largest independently-owned commercial real estate companies.  Under his leadership, the company evolved from a downtown-only property owner into a broadbased company offering a full range of real estate services. He remains active as a community leader, spearheads special projects, and consults on strategic planning decisions.

Marian Mirsky facilitates the employment process for Melvin Mark Companies, analyzing and implementing Company policies, compensation and benefit plans. She also serves as Office Manager and Information Services Coordinator. Educated at Willamette University; she holds a B.S. in Computer Science Management and a secondary degree in Human Resource Management from Linfield College.

Marcia Coffey joined Melvin Mark Companies in 2005. She holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and is a Certified Public Accountant. Her position entails financial reporting, budgeting and escalations as well as implementation and maintaining the accounting software systems.

Connie Lingel joined the Melvin Mark team in 2000. She is responsible for the construction accounting functions for the construction and development departments. Connie attended Pacific University in Stockton and has her Masters in Communication Sciences & Disorders from the University of Montana.

Pat is widely known for his expertise in office and industrial park sales and leasing.

Tom Becic joined Melvin Mark Brokerage Company in 1984 and has successfully represented many of the firm's major landlord clients, including Portland landmark properties such as the U.S. Bancorp Tower and Benjamin Franklin Plaza. Tom's tenant representation clients include many top professional services firms as well as non-profits and local charitable organizations. All his clients benefit from his experience and knowledge of the office market and, perhaps more importantly, appreciate his commitment, empathy and perseverance. He was voted Portland Broker of the Year, the top industry award by the Portland Owners and Managers Association, for 2005.

Maria has an uncanny ability to weed through the red tape to streamline successful connections between Tenant and Landlord. Trusted with the leasing of the Melvin Mark signature buildings, she has been instrumental in bringing these buildings and other notable Landlord's buildings to 99-100% filled

Dan Petrusich directs Melvin Mark Development Company and has been its chief executive since the firm was incorporated in 1988.  He is also a partner in all of the Melvin Mark Companies. Prior to joining the company, he had his own firm that specialized in leasing, management and development and worked on the 525,000 sq. ft. Pacwest Center. Dan has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and a Masters in Business Administration from Oregon State University.

Craig Lewis has overall project responsibility. He has been involved in virtually every MMDC project and has been the lead Project Manager in many of our major developments. His most recent projects include Evergreen Corporate Center Building Five, the Portland Art Museum, and Standard Headquarters Buildings One and Two. His role requires a thorough understanding of all phases and components of the development process, including land use, permitting, financial analysis, project budgeting, building design and construction. Craig is a graduate of Willamette University.

Byron Courts acts as technical adviser on new development projects and supervises the mechanical and electrical design on new construction in the projects. Byron's experience also includes coordinating the technical build-out for server rooms, fiber optic installations, computer rooms, telephone, data and the required support equipment. Byron is a LEED (Leadership in Environmental and Energy Design) accredited professional, associate member of American Society of Heating and Air-conditioning Engineers and a member of the National Fire Protection Association.

Dave has been with Melvin Mark Companies for over 25 years. He founded the Tenant Improvement Services in 1983. Dave is an expert in the myriad issues related to the successful management of tenant office space and the comfort of office buildings. He oversees the operations of dozens of buildings comprising more than three million square feet, supervises a team of building managers and coordinates in-house tenant improvement services. He is an OSU graduate and has an MBA from Stanford.

Jerry graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Oklahoma.
